TOKONOMA MANDALa Videos

The following Tokonoma Mandala Videos were created from what I call “Motifs” — carefully selected mini-compositions within the Tokonoma painting for a specific month — which I find intriguing and which also lend themselves to the creation of mandalas. Each set of Motifs acts much like a specific Key in a musical composition, lending a flavor to the video experience which, in this way, acts as a kind of aesthetic exegesis for the paintings themselves.
